Monroe Community Power is a combined effort among the partnering communities, program administrator, and electricity supplier.

Communities in Monroe County have partnered with Joule Community Power, a division of Joule Assets, Inc. to establish Monroe Community Power in order to provide residents with access to renewable electricity supply at competitive rates.

Participating Communities

The participating community with an active electricity supply contract through the program is Town of Henrietta. 

Prospective or Previously Active Communities

The prospective or previously active communities with no active electricity supply contracts through the program include the Towns of Brighton, Irondequoit, Pittsford, Rush and the Village of Pittsford.
